Ride Highlife Snowboard 161 - 2012
Back in the days when I was taking my first turns on a snowboard there were snowboards and then there were Ride snowboards. Ride snowboards were know for progressive technology, sick graphics but most of all for their uncompromising freeride and freestyle boards which were stiffer and gnarlier than anything else at the time. Snowboarding has come a long way since those days and snowboards have become progressively softer and the reverse camber revolution has changed the face of snowboarding forever. What Ride have done with the Highlife UL is taken the premise of their heritage snowboards and married it with the technology of today, the result is a board that is unbelievably responsive, lightening quick edge to edge, with all the power of a traditional camber shape and the advantage of added float with a longer, rockered nose. The Highlife is for snowboarders who hanker after the good ol' days, or anyone who wants to rip around the mountain very quickly!
