The 2012 Embark women's snowboard jacket is from Burton's AK collection, designed for and tested in the largest, least populous but, most importantly, coldest US state, Alaska. The AK range therefore is the best-in-class, most technically advanced outerwear in Burton's range. The main difference in the AK line for 2012 is the fit, which has evolved to give you the most performance orientated articulated fit, designed to mimic the body's natural movements while riding and hiking. The Embark jacket is made from fully Gore-Seam taped 2 layer Gore-Tex with engineered Thermacore insulation to make sure you stay warm and dry whatever the weather. The Embark also boasts water resistant zips, ballistic stitching on the critical seams and Pow Grip to stop the sleeves filling with snow should you find your way into the deep stuff.
