The 2012 Cyclic jacket is from Burton's AK collection, designed for and tested in the largest, least populous but, most importantly, coldest US state, Alaska. The AK range therefore is the best-in-class, most technically advanced outerwear in Burton's range. The main difference in the AK line for 2012 is the fit, which has evolved to give you the most performance orientated articulated fit, designed to mimic the body's natural movements while riding and hiking. The Cyclic jacket has no insulation and is designed to be a waterproof, breathable shell to give you maximum flexibility whatever the conditions, you can layer up underneath it during the colder days yet still ride it with just a t-shirt during spring. Whatever conditions you are riding the Cyclic will keep you dry and well ventilated, so you can concentrate on riding.
