Salomon Powder Snake Snowboard 166 - 2012
New for 2012, Salomon has created the Powder Snake. Salomon wanted to take the ethos of their freestyle boards and marry it to their freeride know how to make a snowboard that makes the backcountry your playground. The Powder Snake has a tapered twin shape and a Pow Rocker profile that is predominantly flat with reverse camber just outside the bindings giving it great float and stability in the soft stuff. Where this board differs from most other freeride boards is in its variable thickness Popster core which makes the board more supple than its flex rating suggests and gives you more pop than the Coca Cola Company giving you the freedom to take your tricks from the park and let them fly in the pow.
