The Salomon Malamute has long been the king of the freeride jungle with its gnarly flex and comfortable interior, this year it's no different. Designed for the advanced freerider/seasonaire the Malamute is designed to cope with whatever you throw yourself into and respond to your every action, it features Salomon's Asymmetrical Flex Shell, Power liner, an internal heel strap and energiser bars all designed to make the boot respond faster than Bruce Lee on Red Bull. The Power liner is the real genius behind the Malamute. With an exterior pocket into which you can slide a variety of different flexing symmetric or asymmetric J-Bars, the liner also contains Custom Fit Pro heat mouldable foam and the combination of these features gives the rider a fully customised liner. So that's you're feet taken care of, now you can concentrate on which line you're gonna slay.
The liners of these boots are heat mouldable to give a custom fit. The heat moulding process should be done in store using specialist heaters but if you are unable to get to a store, the liners will mould as you ride them using your body heat.
