Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Binding - Violent - 2012

The Burton Malavita has been redesigned and much improved for 2012 and now sits proudly at the top of the freestyle binding tree within the Burton stable. The Malavita has several new tricks for 2012, it features The Hinge which allows the rider to 'roll' into ollies by having a lateral hinge in the heelcup, giving a more skate like feel and more pop to your ollies. Secondly the binding features AutoCANT that moulds using the weight and position of the rider to give customised canting in the footbed and therefore a bespoke feel for every rider. The other new innovation for the 2012 Malavita is the Heel Hammock which is a rubber webbing on the Hi-Back designed to grip onto the back of your boot allowing you to ride with your straps slightly looser giving you the ability to tweak out your grabs further than ever before. Roughly translated, Malavita means 'Underworld' in Italian, so the Malavita is for all those born slippy, I guess?!
